How To Break Up With Someone You Still Love

Published

on

Breaking up always sucks. But, breaking up with someone that you still love is even suckier. Losing someone who knows you better than anyone is hell. It is as hard as breaking off from a toxicating relationship. But, if you are reading this, you know that it’s something you have to do. It’s a small sacrifice for a better and happier future in a long distance.

Stick To Your Principal

Knowing your value means knowing what you want out of life, knowing how to treat yourself and others, and knowing what to expect from others. If you have the value that is different from your partner, then it is time to break the deal off. For example, if your partner wants a child while you don’t. Or if you prefer sunny places while your partner is crazy with England. Then that’s it. The deal is supposedly off.

Remember The Off Moments

Something as complex and layered as a relationship can be impossible to define with just one word or one feeling. So, the only possible thing to know how you feel is to really zoom in. Reflect to each moment when you feel that the relationship feels off or feels amiss. If helps, keep a journal of your relationship. Whether your partner continue to be negative around you until it rubs you. Whether their jokes always rubs your friends the wrong way. And stuffs like that.

Get Ready For Not Having Them In Your Life

If you are really sure that you want to break up with someone, then don’t just text them whenever something wrong happens at work. Or DM them everytime you see a perfect Insta memes. Get really ready to lose some function in your life that usually is there for you no matter what. If you are at the same office at them, that might be hard. But you can try to transition from partner to BFF in life. That would be easier if you do really have to meet each other a lot.

It’s Time To Toss These 5 Items From Your Closet

Published

on

Most people will clean their closet out every few months as the season changes. Swaping our winter clothes with summer ones are the usual chores. But other than that, there is another thing to do that should be on every person’s list. It’s called the donation or throw away list. The list are included a full drawer full of socks and old t-shirts you’ve owned for too long. Parting with these items on regular basis will keep your wardrobe well-organized and full of the freshest items. Plus, not only will this habit leave your overall appearance look perfectly polished, but it will also create more room for your wardrobe.

Mismatched Socks

We all have that one sock that we are not sure where the other pair is. Often times, we are guilty into believing that we will somehow find the other pair and let the mismatched socks sitting there in our drawer. This is a habit that needs to be changed. Instead of letting the one sock sitting useless in the drawer, you can try some DIY crafts with the leftover sock. Google and Youtube are full of DIY ideas you can try.

Dingy White Tees

This happens to all of us. We have that one favorite white t-shirt that we wear on repeat. Unfortunately, as it is with all white t-shirts, the stains are catching up on us. Whether it’s the yellowish stains from our deodorant or a spill from a cup of coffee. Sometimes, the white t-shirt is simply not so-white anymore. Whatever the case is, whenever your white shirt has changed color, it is time to get rid of them from your wardrobe. Next, replace the old ones with a fresh, bright white t-shirt.

Heels You Can’t Walk In

Sometimes, you gain weights and your shoes don’t fit anymore. Other times, you find that the heels of your favorite shoes are torn so much, you can’t any longer walk in them. Whatever the reason is, once you find that those heels are no longer comfortable on your feet, it is time to say goodbye. If they are still in good condition, try to donate them. Otherwise, throwing them in the garbage can is a good idea.

Jeans That Don’t Fit

Just like any other piece of clothing, jeans can be worn too much and become unwearable. After many cycles in the washing machine, your favorite pair of jeans will, unfortunately, give away. Either the color is diminishing, they shrunk in size, or on contraries, they size up, it’s time to give up the jeans. Freshen your collection by emptying the wardrobe and purchase new, more flattering pairs.

Stained Blouse

Similar to your white t-shirt case, there is a big possibility that your favorite blouse will get a stain on them. If what you have is a dark color blouse, you are lucky as they don’t show much. But a light color one is a nightmare once you spilled that soup in the office. Stained blouse, wherever the stain comes from is not worth the trouble of keeping them. Toss them away and replace them with a newer, better one.

Guide For Bikini Wax For You Who Are Adventurous

Published

on

As if the torture of the monthly waxing was not enough, here comes bikini wax to take the life out of us. A woman is perceived hairless, and even a little amount of it is considered manly or un-groomed! But all the cribbing aside, we love to look holiday-ready all the time, don’t we? That said, take a look at all there is to know about the Brazilian wax. You might just get impulsively adventurous

Let’s Start With What It Is All About

(Source: bellissimo)

The removal of the pubic hair from the bikini line is quite simply, a bikini wax. It is a cosmetic procedure, and is done by peeling off the hair along with the hot wax that is applied on the skin. Ouch!! That sure sounds painful. But the secret to surviving that is staying absolutely calm.

(Source: goodhousekeeping)

There are four variations of the Brazilian wax, with different levels of cleanliness (and pain, of course), so let me quickly list them down for you.

The Different Types Of Bikini Waxing:

The Standard:

(Source: self)

When you pull the hair off until the line of your standard panties, it is the standard or usual bikini wax. Most parlors usually do that when you opt for the full leg waxing. It leaves a neat triangle that you could trim off and keep clean at any point of time. It is quick and easy, and pain-wise scores 2 on 5. Very bearable I would say.

The Extension Of The Bikini Line:

(Source: tanninglotion)

Taking sexy a notch higher, this one’s going to leave you feeling extremely attractive, and almost G-String ready!!! I’m quite sure you can picture yourself already. This one leaves absolutely no hair poking out since a little over the bikini line is waxed out, leaving a smaller triangle. I would give this one a pain rating of 2 out of 5 as well, because it is not half as painful as what is yet to come (Now ain’t that creepy?).

The Brazilian Wax:

(Source: health)

Now we are talking!! With this wax, you are left only with a small strip of hair at the landing. But otherwise it is all off, and when I say all off, I mean all off. You can let your imagination run wild! This one’s a 4/5 on the pain scale, and although it takes a good 20 minutes to strip the hair off, it is worth it!

Let’s Talk Hollywood:

(Source: clbxg)

This one’s definitely not for the faint hearted! This is like the epitome of bikini wax. And this one removes every bit of hair that exists between your legs. It takes just about 20-30 minutes and rates about 5/5 on the pain scale (Woooppss!!).

But once it’s done, you will not remember the pain, and the cleanliness it gives you – trust me, it is priceless. Just leave your apprehensions and inhibitions behind before you go for this one.

The Two Apprehensions You Deal With Before Going For A Bikini Wax:

Embarrassment

(Source: besanctuary)

Well, this one is like having sex for the first time (What is he going to think about my body?). But believe me when I say that when you go for a professional bikini wax, the beautician is so used to doing it, and has almost seen everything, that neither will she judge you nor will she make you feel uncomfortable. It might be new for you, but it is a part of her job. And she might have done so many in a day, that she probably won’t even remember any bit of what she saw. (And she will definitely not gossip, if you think that ‘s what she might do)

Pain

(Source: more)

It is definitely going to be painful (don’t tell me I didn’t warn you before), but your therapist is sure to keep you comfortable and give you tips on how to make it as painless as possible. If you prepare yourself and go for the treatment, it will get a lot easier. You need to remember that if there is no pain, there is no gain.

Keep It Clean, Keep It Safe

(Source: huffpost)

It is extremely important to make sure the surroundings in which you get your Brazilian wax done, and the technician, are both very clean. The wax needs to be fresh and you need to make sure she does not double dip in the wax.

The risk of infection is always higher after the session, so make sure to take all the necessary precautions for up to 24 hours after the wax.

After The Treatment:

(Source: cosmo)

Most technicians recommend a soothing lotion after the treatment. It is good to use one. You will definitely experience a stinging and tingling sensation in those areas. But it will subside even before you know it.
